Tender steak served with a seasonal salad of corn, cucumber and tomato with a homemade balsamic dressing.
You know, I love to make new and innovative recipes. But I also love simple, classic meals that are tried and true.
Steak Salad with Balsamic Dressing is made using every-day veg, a good cut of steak and a lovely homemade dressing. You just can't go wrong.
Personally, I love a nice piece of sirloin steak. I buy them when they're on special at my local supermarket. But you could also use rump, fillet or porterhouse depending on your budget!
How to make Steak Salad with Miso Dressing:
In a large bowl, mix together the cumin, olive oil, garlic powder and salt until combined. Place steak in the mixture and marinate for 20 minutes. Cook the steak in a frying pan to your liking. Remove from the pan, cover in tin foil and allow to rest.
Place all of the ingredients for the balsamic dressing into a small jug and whisk to combine. Thinly slice the steak. Slice the corn kernels off the cob.
Divide the prepared salad ingredients between 4 plates or serve on a large platter. Arrange the sliced steak on top and pour over the balsamic dressing.
