An epic sauce made from kitchen staples that will take your homemade burgers to the next level.

If you love the taste of a Big Mac but don't love getting takeaways, this epic sauce is the one for you. My homemade copy cat Big Mac Style Sauce is so tasty. It will literally transform your burgers. I also used it to create my super-popular Big Mac Tacos!

I use all of these ingredients regularly so this sauce is super easy for me to whip up. Garlic powder is a very American ingredient and does work differently to crushed garlic. It can be found in most supermarkets and adds great flavour to sauces.
How to make Big Mac Sauce:
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
Chill for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
*This sauce will keep well in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Serve with your favourite burger fillings on a toasted bun. Enjoy!
This sauce also goes really well in a Fried Chicken Burger! Simply use my American Style Fried Chicken recipe, then add it to a bun with your favourite topping and of course, this amazing burger sauce.
A couple of my other favourite condiments include my Homemade Cashew Pesto and my Roasted Tomato Sauce.
Recipe FAQs:
Absolutely! This sauce is so tasty and can be served with fish, chicken, lamb or beef.

This sounds delicious! What kind of mustard do you use?
VJ cooks
I just use mild, American-style mustard.
Maria
Didn't have gherkin, used finely chopped onion instead, still yum. My family loves these burgers!
Lauren
Always my go to big mac sauce!

By small gherkins do you mean cornichons?
VJ cooks
Yes they are also called cornichons. I say 'small' to differentiate between the large or smaller gherkins we can get in New Zealand.

Would pickles be ok instead of gherkins?
VJ cooks
Yes, that would be fine.
