Ingredient notes:
- Chocolate: As this recipe is made with kiddies in mind (adults can of course enjoy too!), I used a creamy milk chocolate to make it.
- Bikkies: Any type of plain bikkies will work in this recipe; SuperWines, Maries, Scotch Fingers etc.
- Sweets: I used a combination of mini marshmallows and red licorice!

Step by step instructions:
Add the chocolate, cream, and butter to a large glass bowl. Cover and microwave for 1 minute. Let sit for 3 minutes, then stir until smooth and combined.
Roughly crush the biscuits and add them to the bowl along with the mini marshmallows. Mix until well combined.
Spoon the mixture onto a large piece of clingfilm. Cut the raspberry licorice down the centre and place it in the middle of the mixture.
Shape into a log, roll up the clingfilm, and twist the ends to seal. Refrigerate overnight until firm.
Roll the salami in sprinkles to coat. Slice and serve. Keep chilled until ready to use.
Recipe FAQs:
Not at all. This treat can be enjoyed at any time of the year. There are some similar recipes for 'Stained Glass Windows' and 'Church Windows' that are more commonly made at Christmas time. These versions usually just have marshmallows in them, no bikkies or licorice.
Yes it could, you would just need to make sure you have a gluten free alternative for everything.
Storage:
Store your Chocolate Marshmallow Biscuit log in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. This slice can also be frozen, either as a log or in slices. Defrost in the fridge overnight.
