Easy and tasty chicken nibbles marinated in soy sauce, honey, tomato sauce and crushed garlic then cooked in the oven until golden. An excellent appetiser.

These sticky Honey Chicken Nibbles are a real crowd-pleaser and perfect for feeding a group. Coated in a simple sweet and savoury marinade, they bake up beautifully golden and caramelised in the oven.
This recipe comes from a cookbook my mum put together for my 21st birthday. It contains recipes from family and friends and includes these chicken nibbles from my good friend's mum, Robyn. I reduced the honey a little, just to keep the recipe affordable. But all the same great flavours are there!

Recipe FAQs:
Yes! You can marinate the chicken overnight, then simply bake when ready to serve.
Absolutely. Cook over medium heat, turning regularly and brushing with extra marinade until cooked through and sticky.
Yes, drumsticks or wings work well too. Just adjust cooking time as needed depending on size.
Storage:
These honey chicken nibbles will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Enjoy cold or reheat until warmed all the way through.
Top tips:
- Marinate longer if you can - 30 minutes works well, but overnight will give the best flavour.
- Don't overcrowd the dish - Spread the nibbles out so they roast rather than steam.
- Turn halfway through cooking - This helps the chicken cook evenly and get sticky all over.
- Line your tray - Baking paper or foil makes cleanup much easier as the sauce caramelises.
