Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri

A frozen strawberry daiquiri made from frozen strawberries, rum, icing sugar, lime juice and cranberry juice. A fun and refreshing drink to make over the festive season.

At the end of 2024 we decided to turn our hand to cocktail recipes. We couldn't believe how popular they were! This recipe for a Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri is no exception. Made from frozen strawberries, white rum, lime juice, cranberry juice and a little icing sugar, this cocktail is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy.

• Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri

Ingredient notes:

• Frozen strawberries: The frozen strawberries are essential for giving the frozen daiquiri its slushy texture.
• Rum: White rum has a sweet and light flavour. Dark rum is aged longer that white rum and takes on smoky flavour over time which will alter the flavour of the daiquiri.
• Lime juice: Feel free to swap this for lemon juice if you don't have access to limes.

Step by step instructions:

Add ice, frozen strawberries, rum, icing sugar, lime juice and cranberry juice to a blender.

Blitz until slushy.

Pour into two glasses and garnish with a sliced strawberry.

This is a fun and tasty drink to serve over the festive season. Especially in the southern hemisphere where Christmas falls in the summer.
