Ingredient notes:
- Asparagus: The star of the dish! I love to make the most of asparagus while it's in season. For some more inspiration, check out my recipes for Asparagus and Bacon Spring Salad, Asparagus Tart and Sautéed Asparagus and Beans.
- Prosciutto: I love the thin slices and flavour of this Italian ham. If you prefer, you could swap it for streaky bacon.

Step by step instructions:
Trim asparagus and place into a dish. Pour enough boiling water over to completely cover the asparagus. Leave to sit for 10 minutes.
Strain the asparagus then wrap 3 pieces tightly with 1 piece of prosciutto. Repeat until you have used all of the asparagus.
Heat the BBQ to a high heat, then grill the bunches on each side until the prosciutto is crispy and golden. This will take around 10 minutes.
Place on a platter and scatter over the toasted almonds. Add lemon zest then drizzle over balsamic glaze and serve.
