An extremely tasty smoked salmon dip made from cream cheese, sour cream, lemon juice and zest, spring onion, capers and hot smoked salmon.

This Smoked Salmon Dip is a great addition to any cheeseboard. Alternatively it would make a great spread on bagels or in a sandwich. Simply mix all the ingredients together and enjoy! If you really want to impress your guests, why not make my Seeded Crackers to serve with your dip?

Ingredient notes:
- Smoked Salmon: This recipe calls for hot smoked salmon, which flakes up when mixed through the dip. Cold smoked salmon won't work in this recipe.
- Dairy: This recipe calls for both cream cheese and sour cream. This combination gives the recipe the right mixture of structural integrity and tanginess.

Step by step instructions:
To the bowl of a stand mixer, add all of the dip ingredients. Flake in the hot smoked salmon.
Whisk on medium speed for 1 minute, scraping down the sides as needed, until well combined. (If you don’t have a stand mixer, you can add to a bowl and manually whisk).
Season to taste with black pepper and salt. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
When ready to serve, transfer to a serving dish and enjoy with crackers or fresh bread.
