A blue, frosty piña colada made from ice, Malibu, Blue Curaçao, pineapple juice and coconut cream, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.
I absolutely love a piña colada, and nothing says summer quite like a tropical cocktail. With my Frosty Piña Colada however, I've combined elements of a northern and southern hemisphere Christmas. A tropical, summer cocktail with a wintry twist!
Simply combine the ice, Malibu, Blue Curaçao, pineapple juice and coconut cream in a blender. Blitz until smooth then serve with whipped cream and sprinkles. I used a little lemon juice and silver sprinkles to decorate the rims of my glasses too!
If you love the tropical combination of pineapple and coconut, you absolutely must try my Pineapple and Coconut Cake. Of for another creamy cocktail, why not try my Ferrero Rocher Frappé?
Ingredient notes:
- Malibu: This is the key ingredient to a piña colada.
- Blue Curaçao: This is what gives the frosty piña colada it's blue colour.
- Pineapple juice: You can either use fresh pineapple juice or juice from a can of pineapple pieces.
