Chocolate Brownie Trifle

When it comes to Christmas desserts the traditional trifle is at the top of the list. This version is a chocolate twist on the classic recipe.

To make Christmas easy this year, I’ve used Countdown’s Chocolate Brownie mix ($3) for this trifle to make it fast and affordable.

If it’s baked the day before it means you can assemble the trifle in minutes along with fresh summer berries, fresh cream and custard.

You can pick up everything you need this Christmas at @countdown_nz . Another tip for a more stress-free Christmas, order online at Countdown and book your delivery in advance to avoid the festive rush.
